Women’s health at Avenora covers contraception and sexual health, fertility conversations, pregnancy planning, cervical screening, and the long stretch of perimenopause and menopause that too often gets dismissed. Appointments run to forty-five minutes because these conversations rarely fit into ten.
You can request a female clinician when you book, and we will hold a slot with one rather than offering you the next available appointment with anybody.
Perimenopause and menopause
We take a full symptom history rather than relying on a single blood test, discuss the evidence for and against hormone therapy in your specific circumstances, and review how it is working after three months instead of leaving you on a prescription indefinitely.
Screening and referrals
Cervical screening is done on site. Where imaging or a specialist opinion is needed, we refer directly and chase the appointment on your behalf.
